If there’s one thing you need to know as a 2024/

If there’s one thing you need to know as a 2024/2025 bride, it’s this:

You don’t need anyone’s permission to do your wedding journey your way. If you want to show up to your engagement in full cosplay, I’ve already got a John Williams score queued up. If you want to stage a performance of “Supertrooper” complete with sequined outfits for your spouse, I will rent an extra camera just for that closeup. Your ideas will never be anything than a resounding yes because this is a day and a journey all about YOU and what makes the two of you special.

You’re not looking for the average wedding photographer or videographer;

you’re looking for someone who’s going to make you feel comfortable and like you own those bedazzled boots you weren’t sure about.

you’re looking for someone who is going to fan girl over your outfit change, bring you that extra cocktail on the dance floor, and sing Abba with you while sewing a split seam between wedding events.

you’re looking for someone who will take your favorite movie moments and gives you that feeling looking back through your gallery.

I’m a sucker for a good shot of the little details, like tattoos, rings, and hands. Our hands are the things we work with the most, the holders of so much love, and the givers of so much life. Why not celebrate all the seasons they’ve been through as couples join hands in celebration of a new stage?

I’m so excited for the wedding of these two next year, but for now it’s been a blast and an honor being able to travel and capture these memories. Insane to think this is my job, being a part of moments like this.

Pushing through the last of my October weddings before moving on to everything I shot in November. Truly so blessed to have been a part of all of these varied and unique celebrations. There’s nothing like a wedding to show off the personality of a couple and this wedding was no exception. This easily had to be one of the most blown out, energy filled bashes of the year and I could not have been more honored to be there. Weddings filled with personal touches are such an amazing thing to be a part of. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to experience one wedding day the same as the other and each one is all the more precious because of it. From the lush colors that harmonized with the sunset skyline of San Diego to all of the personal elements reflecting the bride and groom’s respective cultures - including a gorgeous hula dance dedicated to the couple by the groom’s aunt - this wedding was full of so many moments celebrating this unique relationship and the people who had fostered it.

It’s all in the details and these details were everything. With the rain coming down and the intimate tented ceremony set right inside of a greenhouse conservatory, Brett and Tiffani’s day was all about doing a garden wedding THEIR way. From the darker, gothic personal florals to their dog walking down the aisle with the rings to the gorgeous backlit shots under a waning moon - this has to be the perfect inspiration for any bride who needs the go ahead to do things her way.
