K+R’s High Energy Coastal Wedding

bridal party cheers for the camera at a coastal wedding

As a wedding photographer, I have been blessed to capture the most beautiful love stories over the years. And the wedding of Kayla and Robert was no exception.

Kayla and Robert’s love was so special not only because their wedding day was a celebration of their love but also of their lifelong friendships with the people that surrounded them . The big bridal party, many of whom they’d known since middle school,  that surrounded them on their special day was a testament to the wonderful relationships they had built over the years.

this coastal wedding is EVERYTHING

The wedding day was set on the stunning golf course of the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, providing a picturesque backdrop for the festivities. As soon as I arrived, the tone for the day was set when the groomsmen decided to cheers the groomsmen with pizza and bourbon shots.

Kayla was all about pictures, which made my job even more enjoyable. From the moment she got ready, she was radiant and full of energy. Her bridesmaids were just as excited and supportive, making sure every detail was perfect. The bond between the entire bridal party was undeniable, making for some truly memorable moments.

4+ years in the making

Golden hour photos was a chaotic but exciting 20 minutes as the bridal parties hyped themselves up for the reception and braced through the cold. One of the most fun things about the first dance between bride and groom was the fog machine, a trend that has gotten quite popular over the last several years.

My favorite moments from dancing had to be all of the fun moments in which guests made dancing with the groom and bride into an experience that had guests and bridal party laughing til their stomachs hurt.

Kayla and Robert’s wedding was one for the books. It was a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As a wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with. Congratulations, Kayla and Robert, on your beautiful wedding day, and may your love continue to grow and flourish for many years to come.
