K + L’s Cultural Wedding
Seeing a couple celebrating their love story is beautiful. Seeing a couple celebrate their family and culture in on the same day? That’s something I truly live to see.
From the beginning of meeting Karen, I knew that her wedding day was going to be as sweet and sincere a day as she was herself. Karen and Leo’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love and culture that I had the honor of photographing and videographing.
One of the most validating and enjoyable things as a bride to be and wedding professional is the ability to be a part of making someone else’s day as amazing as I would hope mine will be. It’s truly a pleasure to make couples feel more comfortable in their own skin.

Downtown Santa Ana, with its colorful murals, vintage architecture, and trendy cafes, was the perfect location for Stephanie and Felipe’s engagement photo session. The couple, who were set to tie the knot in a few months, wanted to capture their love and excitement in a playful and urban setting.
Stephanie, a creative bride-to-be, added a personal touch to the shoot by designing her own sunglasses with the words “Mrs. Rios” on them. The sunglasses not only complemented her chic outfit but also served as a fun way to celebrate their upcoming nuptials.

Celebrating your love & culture
If you’ve been around the blog or any of my socials for any length of time, then you’ll know what I love more than anything is a wedding filled with details that celebrate a couple’s love story and/or culture. To quote Abuela Claudia a la Lin Manuel Miranda’s In the Heights, these kinds of things are the “little details that show the world we are not invisible”. When it comes to intimate weddings, the options are endless for how to customize and craft a day that truly celebrates you.
5 Easy Ways to Customize Your Wedding
So you’re engaged. Felicidades! You may have noticed on social media that intimate weddings have become quite the trend. While not everyone in the wedding industry may be pro small weddings, over here at Llena Vida Media I’m a huge fan of encouraging couples to go small and focus on their unique love story rather than on throwing a huge party that just doesn’t match their personality. But what if you’re not into the vibe of small weddings but just want the idea of things being a bit more personal? Well, this is the perfect list for you to jump off of as you wedding plan and figure out how exactly you’re going to make your day your own.
